We see our regenerative land management as the foundation of our food system.
We moved to the farm house in 2022 and continued construction. We began gardening in beds and green houses that spring and summer while raising 50 chickens for eggs and 100 for meat. 2023 began with the construction of a freezer storage building and a chicken brooding building where we brood 400 chickens in two batches. The chickens have provided a wealth of knowledge and an abundance of meat and eggs we now share with our Friends of the Farm. Our heard of Simmentals and Angus have had an interesting out cross due to the feminized AI of our matriarch cow 20H to a Jersey bull named Sparky Moon. Lucy is now our future Jersey matriarch as she will be AI 'ed back to a Jersey line. We will continue to provide up dates as the farm grows.
